In August, Google began rolling out Search Console recommendations, now available to all users. If any recommendations exist for your site, they will be displayed on the dashboard’s homepage.
Google announced, “Recommendations are now available to everyone! You will only see them if we endorse your website.”
Only a few websites offer recommendations; I only found them for a few places after checking multiple accounts.
Here’s what I observed about this website:
This is a different one:
When Google introduced its recommendations, it said they would only be presented when relevant to your page. Examples of recommendations include:
- Issues (fixable items)
- Opportunities (to increase traffic)
- Configuration (to simplify tasks)
These ideas help prioritize search engine optimization activities, such as using structured data, creating sitemaps, and investigating trending queries and sites.
