According to a poll, Microsoft-owned ChatGPT has started to take the position of personnel in several US organizations. By using the AI chatbot to perform tasks that workers previously performed, these companies have saved thousands of dollars.

Over half of the US organizations that participated in the poll have already adopted ChatGPT, and as a result, it has replaced personnel at those companies, according to a survey on career counseling conducted by the website Resumebuilder.com on 1,000 company leaders.

Stacie Haller, the chief career advisor at Resumebuilder.com, stated in a statement that there is “a lot of excitement” about the use of ChatGPT. Workers should undoubtedly be considering how this new technology may affect their current job duties since it is only now becoming more prevalent in the workplace.

 Employers are hoping to use ChatGPT to streamline various job obligations, according to the survey’s findings.

66 percent of American businesses use ChatGPT for coding, 58 percent for writing prose and content, 57 percent for customer support, and 52 percent for meeting summaries and other paperwork, according to the poll.

The majority of corporate executives are generally pleased with ChatGPT’s services, according to ResumeBuilder.com. “Fifty-five percent rate ChatGPT’s work as “great,” while 34 percent describe it as “very good.”

Sam Altman, the creator of ChatGPT and CEO of OpenAI, has previously advised users not to rely on the AI chatbot for “anything significant.” This warning comes at a critical juncture. Altman had also expressed concern about the dangers that AI poses.

Cut to India, where domestic firms like TCS have already asserted that platforms for generative artificial intelligence (AI) like ChatGPT will create an “AI co-worker” and not result in job losses.
