To provide group admins greater leeway when naming their groups, the group subject’s character limit has been raised from 25 to 100.

The platform is also extending the group description from 512 characters to 2048 characters with the new upgrade.

Users who download the most recent WhatsApp beta for Android update from the Play Store will have access to the option to select a longer group subject and description, according to the report.
The messaging service is reportedly developing a new feature that will enable users to exchange photographs in their original quality, according to a story from earlier this month.
