Digital platforms are attractive to advertisers due to their ability to target ads to specific demographics and interests, and large user bases. The top six players’ combined ad revenues for FY21 were INR 28,177 crore.

In FY22, Google, Facebook, Hotstar, Amazon, Myntra, and Flipkart earned over INR 49,400 crore in advertising revenue from Indian marketers.

A 75% rise from FY21, according to ET, indicates a significant shift towards digital advertising in corporations’ media mix.

Advertisers are drawn to digital platforms for their targeting abilities and large user bases. The top six players’ combined ad revenues for FY21 were INR 28,177 crore.

In FY22, the total amount of Google and Facebook advertising revenue from India was INR 41,115 crore.

Novi Digital Entertainment’s ad income rose to INR 1,684.31 crore in FY22, up from INR 829.74 crore in FY21.

Indian marketers are using various platforms for targeting consumer journey stages, according to experts.
